Iowa Starting Line: In GOP-favored IA-04, Democrat Dave Dawson pitches civility over combat
<p>Dave Dawson, running for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, shared a story from the Woodbury County Fair: </p>
<p>He and his Republican opponent, at booths across the aisle from each other, sat down, talked, and even posed together holding an American flag. </p>
<p>“We might disagree on policy, but we don’t need to be disagreeable with one another,” Dawson said Saturday at the Des Moines Register’s Political Soapbox at the Iowa State Fair. </p>
