KCAU 9: Dave Dawson kicks off ‘Grow Iowa’ town hall tour
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Democratic candidate Dave Dawson, running for Iowa’s fourth congressional district, kicked off his ‘Grow Iowa Town Hall Tour,’ launching a journey across 36 counties in northern and western Iowa. His first stop was in Woodbury County.
Dawson launched his campaign last fall, and on January 10, he marked the first official day of his tour at the Sioux City Public Library. Throughout the tour, Dawson plans to visit every county, sharing his story and listening to residents’ questions about Iowa’s current challenges.
He’s also outlining his vision for solutions. One issue rising above the rest: affordability. Dawson says it’s the top concern he’s heard from residents so far.
“I’m somebody who will always listen to the concerns of my constituents and work hard to solve the problems that they have regardless of their party background,” said Dawson. “I think I am the best suited candidate because I have the experience, the know-how, and I’m ethical, honest and willing to follow the rule of law.”
